new cockpit and tires on the Paconi; first of many upgrades in the next couple weeks.
inaugural spin (~20 miles) has me disappointed in the ride quality of the Duranos, but i got them for free and they’re training tires anyway so i shouldn’t be complaining.
next up: proper cranks, road pedals, race wheels/tires, and some EE brakes - these KCNC guys, cool as they are, ain’t cuttin it - and it could only get worse with carbon rims.
this old sled is coming very, very close to being my dream bike. this excites me.
